Polio may be eradicated for future generations but Polio Survivors
Ireland is dedicated to supporting its members who continue to live

The organisation was set up?in **Apply on the website**, as the
Post-Polio Support Group by Polio survivors who were experiencing the
Late Effects of Polio (Post-Polio Syndrome). The lack of information
available to them about their condition had been identified as a
significant problem.
Polio Survivors Ireland not only provides practical and social support
to its members, but it also works to educate and inform the general
public, the medical profession and survivors, to ensure that all polio
survivors can age with dignity and live an independent life, at home,
at work and beyond.
Polio Survivors Ireland are now recruiting a part- time Communications
and Fundraising Assistant to join their dedicated and inclusive team.

have knowledge of and relevant experience using social media and
digital marketing tools.
The candidate will support the CDO to deliver effective fundraising
campaigns; develop fundraising leads; communicate regularly with all
stakeholders and provide the necessary administration to support these
activities.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated and caring team,
where you can make an important contribution towards educating,
informing, promoting and fundraising for Polio Survivors Ireland.
To succeed in this role, you will have strong literacy skills online
_and_ offline, will be capable of flexi- tasking, will be responsive
